November 1 ~ Today marks the beginning of my annual Freeze-up Photo Project. Still getting myself organized here but wanted to say Hi, ( it has been a year!) and welcome you back to November on McLeod Bay. Looking forward to sharing photos of ice and steam and landscape as the McLeod Bay freezes. For those of you new to this page, the reason freeze-up is so anticipated each year is because of the drama as the lake freezes and then the end result, which allows us to move freely on both the land and the ice. Airplanes can land, dogteam can run, skiers can ski and so on. It is a pretty big deal in our world and I have enjoyed sharing it with you all over the years. Thanks for being here.
